Kim's Graduation Day

A big Congratulations to my Sister-in-Law Kim for graduating from Strayer University. You are very deserving...  I know a lot of hard work, sacrifice and pray went in to it. Know that your family loves and supports you in all of your endeavors. 
  It was held at the Time Warner Arena in Raleigh, NC.   (that's where the bobcats play.) It was a beautiful hot summer day, a beautiful ceremony. A couple rain showers couldn't even keep us from making this event.  The speaches were short and sweet. There were tears, laughs.. and then there was Mustafa's voice.  Maybe he'll say your name for your Graduates degree... or maybe he'll going into voice-over work like the homeless guy from Ohio.

Fixing an Canon EOS 630's Batter Drain problem

     I don't think I'll get yelled at by too many people for this.. But I decided to take my Camera Completely apart to fix a problem inside. OK, relax -- It was my dad's 20 year old  EOS 630. It wasn't a 70D, 5D or 1DX. This camera is the very first SLR that I learned to take pictures on. So its pretty special to me. I''l probably never junk it...or sell it on EBay. Rock n Roll Raleigh Half Marathon REcon 2018 edition

   Alright, So we are just a few days away from the last running of Rock n Roll Raleigh. A couple of years ago, I did a race recon to spot out all of the hills and notable scenery that runners can and should look for.     I've run this race every year and every year, they've tweaked something about the course whether it be the start line or the finish line.    There are some big changes this year.    1. No marathon.    2. The Half Marathon course is different but only in a few locations    3. Fewer Hills. So, it could be a PR race for some runners.           The first 5 miles are pretty familiar.  The start line is on Fayetteville street. Then you make your way up hill to get to the NC Museum of Natural Sciences and you'll pass the big Globe. You can't miss it. You'll want to look for photographers in this area.
