WRAL Azalea Garden Photo Shoot

I was delayed by a couple of days getting these pictures to you because of a nasty stomach bug that hit my family. Even though I wasn't feeling too good on Friday after work, I couldn't resist the beauty in the back yard at work. For those that don't already know, the Azalea garden at WRAL is kind of a destination. There have already been many Saturdays and Sundays when I have rolled into work to see a limo, men in tuxedos, women in their wedding dresses and photographers leading the way. It's a little more private than going to a public park, but still just as nice.
Anyway now that I've introduce the family to the Azalea gardens-- now you know.

On this particular day- a Friday. There was a group in the park taking pictures. Looked like a family with young kids, some kid in a marching band outfit, and a mom and toddler dressed up in their Easter Sunday's Best. Then there was me.. stumbling my way through... scaring away birds and trying to look inconspicuous with my new lens. Shot with the 70 - 200mm. you can find some of these on my Instagram page: jasonj1
